Reopening- Group Fitness

Hi Everyone

I hope you are well and looking forward to returning to the club.

This email is specifically about classes and in addition to the email that we sent last week which you can find on our website https://www.holmerpark.co.uk/news/view/holmer-s-headlines-july-2020-and-reopening-news-for-club-members/

I just wanted to let you know some of the changes we will be making to your classes to ensure you and our team members have a safe and welcoming experience.
 

  • We will be applying a sanitising germ protection spray, prior to re -opening, to high contact touch points. This forms an antimicrobial coating which protects against germs for up to 30 days after which we will reapply
  • We are increasing the frequency of our cleaning and will be using a viricidal cleaning product which will kill all viruses, including coronavirus, within sixty seconds
  • Staff training has taken place to ensure that every single member of the team is aware of the new protocols and understands all about the measures we are putting in place to protect you
  • You must enter the building via the main entrance and swipe your card. This will assist with NHS track and trace
  • There will be a protocol that your instructor will read to you prior to commencing your class
  • Your instructor will deliver your class facing away from you
  • Music will be kept to a minimum so that the instructor has no need to raise their voice
  • We ask that you bring your own mat if possible however will will have a small supply of sanitised ones available for use.
  • You must clean all the equipment before and after you have used it
  • You will be asked to leave via the fire exit and NOT via the studio entrance.
  • Please ensure after cleaning is completed that the studio is vacated promptly
  • Please do not arrive early for your class and we ask you to stay outside until the class start time
  • As per government guidance we have increased turnaround time to a minimum of 15 minutes
  • The spin studio is temporarily in the wellness studio. To assist with NHS track and trace you must be booked on the class and you must swipe your card at the main reception desk

Please check your booking portal for classes you may have booked as we noticed a number of classes had bookings which we are sorry to say have been removed

We look forward to having you back, this is a temporary timetable and as we start to return back to normal it will be reviewed every 4 weeks.
