Class booking system update

Hi, Dan here, your club Assistant Manager.

Following the updates that we carried out to the the class booking system in March 19 we have listened to your feedback and made the following additional updates: 

• You can no longer cancel a booking within 2 hours of the class start time. For example, if your class starts at 15:00 the latest you can cancel your booking is 12:59. This was due to Club Members being promoted from waiting lists at very short notice, sometime within minutes. Having spoken with other club members 2 hours seems a fair and reasonably practical amount of time to either decide you cannot attend a class and if you have been promoted from a waiting list make arrangements to attend that class. 
• Booking now opens at 6:30am, 2 weeks in advance rather than the class start time, 2 weeks in advance. For example if you want to book classes on the 14th October you can from 6:30am on the 30th September. The date when booking is available is shown on the online timetable. We have made this change due to classes being delayed and becoming quite stressful at the start whilst future bookings were being made.

A reminder of the update we did in March 19...

We're currently working on some great changes to the class booking system. You will soon be able to view your position on the waiting list and you'll no longer have to call us to confirm a promotion from the waiting list too. If you are number 1 on the waiting list you'll be GIVEN a place if one comes available. If you don't want that place simply log in to your portal, cancel your booking and it will be offered to the next member. We're also creating a sin-bin for those members who sadly book on to a class and do not attend. If you do not attend three classes then we will remove your booking rights until a £20 fine is paid. £10 of that will be donated to our chosen charities St Micheals Hospice and the Hereford branch of  Breast Cancer Haven. We're also updating our website security too.
