Holmer Park is to undergo a £450k renovation to update our gym facilities for our members, with work due to be completed before the end of the year.
The current gym equipment is now just over 5 years old and will be replaced with the very latest equipment manufactured by Technogym – our Wellness partner.
All of the current Cardio equipment will be updated including Spin bikes, as well as our free weights, benches and most other strength equipment. New additions include Technogym Ride Smart Bikes, HIIT Benches, Skillup machines, an Inbody body composition analysis machine and more!
The gym will have a new look too, with new flooring throughout, upgraded lighting, sound and decor. We are upgrading the wifi too.
Club Manager Steven Chadwick says: "It is very important to us that we provide our club members with the very highest level of fitness equipment and this investment will ensure that continues.
"I know our loyal members will be excited to see the new look gym areas and it is a great project to finish what has been a successful year for us, despite the challenging economic situation.
"Thank you to the Team at Mosaic HQ for supporting us with this project".
"Myself, Assistant Manager Dan and the gym team are so excited to get started and we know the disruption caused will certainly be worth it”.
"We will provide further updates in due course and will provide LIVE updates on this page when the work starts. I urge you to check here before visiting so you are aware of any potential disruption".
The smith machine is currently out of use.
The next 2-3 days will be the most disruptive as we start work to replace the flooring in the downstairs area of the gym. The cardio area remains open as usual. The free weights area will be closed/ moved and some kit will be unavailable. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Most of the resistance areas are now open but there will be snagging work being carried out to the flooring that was laid yesterday. The Smith machine will be out of use until 4pm.
Disruption is now at a minimum until the 14th Dec when we move the kit from the Studio back into the gym. This will result in a closure of the cardio area from 2pm-5pm.
A reminder that the gym will be closed in it is entirety and all classes cancelled on the 18th, 19th and 20th.
